The Vision VR40 is a recumbent bike that was first introduced in 19951. The bike is part of the Vision R40 series of hardtail recumbents, which are versatile SWB bikes that are light, comfortable, and climb well. The bike features an adjustable suspension system, disc brakes, and adjustable components3. The quality American-made frame is designed to be durable and uses a 2” Chromoly tube to handle the stresses encountered as an MWB2. According to user reviews, the bike has a relatively difficult learning curve (under-seat steering, short wheelbase), but it will give back what you put into it. It’s a good value for the price and has a comfortable ride (relaxed riding posture). It’s also fantastic for long rides.
